Job summary

Justrite Safety Group's AccuformNMC Brooksville facility seeks a Pre-Production Technician for 2nd shift to support Prepress and Proofing workflows for digital signage and identification products. The role involves preparing production-ready files, operating digital printers, and creating proofs following customer guidelines.

You will collaborate with Inside Sales and Production teams, apply lean practices, and ensure accuracy across multiple workflows.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in graphic art or 1-2 years’ relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign required.
• Experience with digital printing, RIP software, Esko Automation and layout software is a plus.
• Knowledge of Durst, Epson, Xerox and other printer technologies a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pivot between Prepress and Proofing per customer and business demands.
• Prepare production-ready layouts for large-format production machines.
• Utilize Esko Automation Engine and RIPs (Fiery XF, Onyx, Durst) for efficient layouts.
• Create proofs and final art per customer specs using Adobe apps and templates.
• Maintain artwork files and templates; support production and shipping as needed.
