Job summary
Justrite is seeking a Pre-Production Technician for our Brooksville, FL facility on the 2nd shift. The role blends Prepress and Proofing, crafting production-ready layouts for digital printers using Illustrator, InDesign, Esko Automation, and RIP software.
You will also create proofs and final art according to customer specifications and AccuformNMC design guidelines. You will collaborate with Inside Sales and production teams to ensure designs meet feasibility and cost targets.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in graphic art and/or 1-2 years’ relevant experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign required.
- Experience in digital print and production machine operation is a plus.
- Knowledge of Esko Automation and RIP software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Pivot between Prepress and Proofing per customer and business demands.
- Create production-ready layouts for large-format printers.
- Prepare sign proofs from existing templates for customer approval.
- Design signage and vector artwork per customer specifications.
- Interact with customers via email, remote, or phone when required.
- Cross-train to assist in other areas of Production.
