Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• 2–5 years of nursing experience; supervisory experience optional.
• Active RN license and BLS certification required.
• GI/endoscopy experience and scheduling preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills.

Job description

Provides direct outpatient patient care in collaboration with healthcare providers and the care team, developing and implementing individualized care plans to ensure high-quality, cost-effective outcomes. Supports clinical staff and assists providers with daily patient management, documentation, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with PCPs and specialists to develop, review, and update care plans.
• Assess and evaluate patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs using critical nursing skills.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, patient assessment guidelines, and compliance standards.
• Support documentation of assessments and treatment protocols.
• Educate patients and families, providing verbal and written instructions, and assess their ability to receive education.
• Maintain safety standards, working in a constant state of alertness.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 2-5 years of nursing experience; supervisory experience is optional.
• Active RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in GI/endoscopy and scheduling is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills.
