Moore Company seeks a detail-oriented Pre-Press Assistant II to prepare digital and physical materials for printing. You will review, edit, and optimize design files, perform color calibration, and set up jobs to meet client specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities include file preparation and proofing, preflight checks, imposition, plate making for offset, color management, and using Adobe Creative Cloud tools.

Qualifications

• Review, edit and optimize design files for printing.
• Perform color calibration and ensure industry standards.
• Set up printing jobs for offset and digital environments.
• Work with PDF-based workflows and preflight checks.

Responsibilities

• File preparation, proofing and ensuring correct formats and resolutions.
• Generate proofs and obtain client/design team approvals.
• Preflight digital files and fix potential errors affecting print quality.
• Prepare correct imposition and layout for presses.
• Create and process offset printing plates.
• Apply color correction and maintain color accuracy.
• Operate prepress software including Adobe CC tools.
• Manage PDF workflows and use Enfocus Pitstop for QC.
• Collaborate with press operators to meet job specs.
• Troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and waste.
