Qualifications

• Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• 2+ years of RN experience; ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, coordinate, and delegate all care touchpoints for patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure direct patient care.
• Maintain and advocate a safe environment for everyone.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate with families and care team.
• Prevent and treat wounds.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission infection control and environment of care requirements.
• Facilitate continuity of care and efficient throughput.
• Educate patients and families using appropriate resources.
