Job summary

Weatherford Honda is seeking a Pre Owned Vehicle Service Technician to diagnose, maintain and repair customer vehicles in a fast-paced dealership environment.

The ideal candidate has an ASE certificate, excellent communication, and at least 2 years of auto technician experience. You will work with diagnostic equipment, provide accurate estimates, and ensure quality service while adhering to warranty guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an auto technician.
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work on vehicles per the repair order.
• Test drive and diagnose vehicles using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services.
• Provide time estimates for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specs.

The responsibilities of a Service Technician include diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles. They will have an ASE certificate and great communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership

• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems

• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed

• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs

• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician

• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance

• Fast, eager learner and team player

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong customer service skills

• Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems

• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

• Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
