Shottenkirk Automotive Group is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair customer vehicles at our Texas dealerships. Candidates should have an ASE certificate and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• ASE certificate is preferred per job description.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

The responsibilities of a Service Technician include diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles. They will have an ASE certificate and great communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership

• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
