Job summary

Four Stars Ford is seeking an experienced Automotive Reconditioning Technician to join our Service Department. You will inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair pre-owned vehicles as they move through our reconditioning process and are prepared for sale.

We prefer 2–4 years of automotive repair experience and experience on domestic and import vehicles. You will work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, about 40 hours weekly, with occasional Saturdays. Compensation is $20–$26 per hour.

Qualifications

2–4 years of automotive repair experience preferred.
Experience on both domestic and import vehicles.
Strong general automotive mechanical and diagnostic skills.
Ability to perform brakes, suspension, steering, maintenance services, batteries, minor engine repairs, and other general reconditioning repairs.
Ability to work efficiently and independently.
Dependable with a strong work ethic.
Valid driver's license.
Must have own basic technician tools.

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair pre-owned vehicles as they move through the reconditioning process.
Prepare vehicles for sale in a professional dealership environment.
