Job summary

Four Stars Ford in Jacksboro, TX is seeking an Automotive Reconditioning Technician to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair pre-owned vehicles as they move through our reconditioning process and are prepared for sale.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with 40 hours per week and occasional Saturdays. Compensation ranges from $20 to $26 per hour. Ford-experienced tech preferred; must have own basic tools and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years automotive repair experience preferred.
• Experience working on both domestic and import vehicles.
• Strong general automotive mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to perform brakes, suspension, steering, maintenance services, batteries, minor engine repairs, and other general reconditioning repairs.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must have own basic technician tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose pre-owned vehicles as they move through the reconditioning process.
• Perform maintenance and reconditioning repairs to prepare vehicles for sale.
• Work within the service department to ensure timely turnaround for inventory.
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality standards during reconditioning.

This position will primarily handle the inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of pre-owned vehicles as they move through our reconditioning process and are prepared for sale.
