Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking an entry-level Automotive Service Technician (Pre-Owned) at Herb Chambers Honda of Burlington to perform basic maintenance tasks and support guest experiences. The role offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits as part of a dynamic automotive team.

You will perform oil changes, tire rotations, routine inspections and assist with keeping customer vehicles in top condition while continuing to develop automotive skills through manufacturer-sponsored training.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test).
• Automotive technical school certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, balancing of tires and battery testing.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Keep customer vehicles in the same or better condition.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training and programs.
• Continuously expand knowledge for new technologies.

Automotive Service Technician (Pre-Owned)

$30.00 - $36.00 per Hour + Weekly Pay + Comprehensive Benefits

(Wage is comprised of base salary and % of department profit to be determined as part of pay plan). The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, ect.

The Quick Lube Technician is an entry level technician who is responsible for performing the basic maintenance of customer vehicles.This position requires exceptional teamwork and the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks.This is an hourly paid position.

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, balancing of tires and battery testing
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Makes accurate use of the multi-pointinspection form on each vehicle
• Utilizes product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management
• Takes care to ensure that customer vehicles are returned to them in the same condition or better than when brought in
• Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs and schools.
• Continuously expand your knowledge for new technologies and practice
• Automotive technical school certifications preferred
• Previous experience highly preferred
• Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
• Must be at leasteighteen years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have basic tools
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)
