Job summary

Asbury is seeking an Automotive Service Technician (Pre-Owned) in Warwick, RI to perform basic maintenance, inspections and service on pre-owned vehicles. You will handle oil changes, tire rotations, inspections and ensure vehicles are returned in excellent condition while applying manufacturer training.

The role is entry to mid-level with opportunities for ongoing training, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test).
• Automotive technical school certifications preferred.
• Previous experience highly preferred.
• Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, balancing of tires and battery testing.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Utilize product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management.
• Ensure customer vehicles are returned in the same condition or better than when brought in.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs and schools.
• Continuously expand knowledge for new technologies and practice.
• Requires automotive technical school certifications (preferred).

Automotive Service Technician (Pre-Owned)

$30.00 - $36.00 per Hour + Weekly Pay + Comprehensive Benefits

(Wage is comprised of base salary and % of department profit to be determined as part of pay plan). The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, ect.

The Quick Lube Technician is an entry level technician who is responsible for performing the basic maintenance of customer vehicles.This position requires exceptional teamwork and the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks.This is an hourly paid position.
