AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time role in a demanding clinical environment. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, plan and implement care, administer medications, and monitor outcomes with a focus on safety and quality.

You will educate patients and families, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR while adhering to clinical policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• RN license in Florida
• Associate degree in Nursing is required
• Strong communication in English (verbal & written)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and data collection.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments and diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately per orders.
• Monitor responses to interventions and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team for coordinated care.
• Document care activities promptly in the EMR.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Respond to life-threatening situations using established protocols.
