Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our critical care team. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in the EMR with accuracy and compassion.

You will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to provide evidence-based care, educate patients and families, uphold safety standards, and participate in quality initiatives to improve outcomes daily.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Document patient care activities, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes, accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to infection control policies and safety protocols.
