Job summary

Endoscopy Center of Northern Ohio is hiring a PRN Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to deliver pre-operative and post-operative care in our ambulatory surgery center. The RN will support patient care in pre-op and the recovery room, with emphasis on nursing judgment, prioritization, and strong communication.

Experience in a surgical setting or critical care is strongly desired; cardiac monitoring is a plus. Position requires weekdays only; no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• A minimum of one year of experience in critical care required; surgical setting experience and cardiac monitoring strongly desired.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

We are looking for a caring, compassionate, highly skilled Registered Nurse to work in our Pre-Op and Recovery Room. The RN will be responsible for pre-operative and post-operative care of patients in our ambulatory surgery center. Experience in a surgical setting, recovery room or critical care (ICU, ER, etc.) strongly desired. Exceptional working environment and excellent nurse:patient ratios! No weekends or holidays!
