Job summary

Eye Surgery Center of New Albany is seeking a Registered Nurse for Pre-Op/PACU/OR responsibilities on a PRN basis. The role involves evaluating patients, coordinating care, and ensuring patient safety in the perioperative setting.

Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating in the OR, assisting surgeons and anesthesia teams, and maintaining accurate patient records. RN license, BSN preferred, and experience in ASC/PACU or related units is desirable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required
• Current RN License required
• BSN preferred or working toward preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and document nursing care per standards and policies.
• Provide scrub and circulating support in the operating room as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and conduct in accordance with HIPAA and policies.
• Assist in training new staff and participate in continuous education.
