Regenerative Orthopedic Surgery Center is hiring a Pre OP PACU, PRN

PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) at Center/Hospital Name

The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile techniques as appropriate. Provides comprehensive patient care to those emerging from anesthesia and/or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for discharge preparation.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
  • Active RN license in the state
  • BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center
  • 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
  • Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques

  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills
