Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking a Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to ensure smooth surgical experiences and provide high-quality patient care. This role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma RN License (or eligibility).
• BLS Certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS/PALS Certification provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery according to hospital policies & procedures.
• Assess and document patient history, vitals, and medication administration.
• Monitor patients for anesthesia interactions, side effects, and expected outcomes.
• Quickly respond to emergency situations using ACLS, PALS, and hospital protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner.
• Ensure all admission requirements are met before surgery.
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols.
• Provide patient & family education regarding the surgical process.
