Carolina Center for Specialty Surgery (CCSS) is seeking a Full-Time Pre-OP/PACU RN in mid-town Charlotte, NC, affiliated with Carolina Neurosurgery and Spine Associates. The role requires an NC RN license and at least 2 years of hospital or recovery experience to support perioperative care.

Qualifications

• 2 years of hospital or recovery experience
• Requires excellent communication skills with patients, physicians and staff
• Excellent time management, problem-solving, multi-tasking and prioritizing are critical
• Experience with electronic charting
• Always works toward an excellent patient experience

Responsibilities

• Improves patient care by respecting each patient’s rights and conducting business relationships with patients and the public in an ethical manner.
• Determines care required and skills needed to meet a patient’s initial needs as well as how they change in response to care and/or disease process.
• Demonstrates the ability to identify and respond to emergency situations.
• Participates in continuous quality improvement efforts to improve patient health outcomes and facility efficiency.
• Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate for the age, health and mental status of patients served.
• Obtains, manages and uses patient‑specific data and information to improve patient outcomes and individual and facility performance in patient care and support processes.
• Follows all HIPAA and facility guidelines related to privacy policies, procedures and protocols.
