Presbyterian Rust Medical Center ASC is seeking a motivated Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to join our team! Presbyterian Rust Medical Center ASC is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to providing the highest quality care and experience for patients and their families.

Job Summary: The RN Pre-op/PACU provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. They deliver safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization and reports to the Manager of Peri-Operative Services.

Supported specialties include: General Surgery, Dental, Gynecology, Breast Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, ENT, Plastics, Podiatry, Pain Management.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred.
  • Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire are required.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of surgical patients.
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills with staff, patients, and physicians.

USPI complies with federal, state, and local laws regarding mandatory vaccination. If offered this position and required to be vaccinated, proof of full vaccination or an approved exemption will be necessary before start. Exemptions require submission of medical or religious exemption documentation, with regular testing as mandated by law.
