Job summary

Endoscopy ASC of Middle Georgia, part of United Surgical Partners International (USPI), is hiring a PreOP/PACU Registered Nurse for a full-time role in Georgia. The RN will maintain continuous patient care from preoperative to PACU, assist with sedation as needed, and ensure safe recovery and discharge planning.

The position requires an accredited nursing degree, active RN license, BLS/ACLS (PALS if required), and PACU/ICU experience. Strong clinical judgment and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years of experience in PACU or critical care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous, high-quality nursing care with ongoing assessment and safety for all patients.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks, including conscious sedation and sterile technique as appropriate.
• Deliver comprehensive care to patients recovering from general anesthesia or sedation; plan, implement and evaluate care pre-discharge.
• Monitor patient conditions and coordinate with care team to ensure smooth discharge planning.

PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse at Center/Hospital Name

The PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

Qualifications
