Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care in North Carolina seeks a Clinical Nurse to coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process in an acute hospital setting. Reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities include administering care under physician direction, documenting plans and patient responses, maintaining safety and infection control, and supporting discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in NC or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• PALS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administers patient care under the direction of a physician and collaborates with the care team.
• Records the plan for care, nursing care given, and patient response.
• Delivers safe, high-quality nursing care per standards and procedures.
• Organizes and prioritizes care; participates in discharge planning as needed.
• Promotes intra/interdepartmental communication and continuous education.
