Job summary

Loma Linda University Health (LLUH) seeks a Patient Care Assistant-PATS to assist in Pre-Anesthesia Testing Services. You will support RN/NP supervision, perform essential clinical tasks, and help with scheduling and chart prep as needed.

The ideal candidate has a CNA/MA background or nursing fundamentals and may hold a BLS certification, with English proficiency and strong teamwork skills for diverse patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of CNA/MA program or nursing fundamentals required.
• Six months' experience as a patient care assistant or medical assistant preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; CNA preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in PATS.
• Assist with vital signs and 12-lead EKGs.
• Support front desk coverage and scheduling as needed.
• Ensure safe patient care and professional service.
