The role focuses on building trust in the community, scheduling educational seminars, conducting presentations, prospecting with a proactive, service-oriented mindset, and delivering world-class customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to learn regulations related to cemetery and funeral profession.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time independently and daily prospecting.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with churches, civic groups, veteran organizations, hospice partners, senior living communities, and other local organizations.
• Schedule and conduct educational preplanning seminars.
• Confidently set appointments and guide families through preplanning and product presentations.
• Provide professional and welcoming park tours.
• Prospect daily through seminars, web leads, file reviews, events, and outreach.
• Schedule 10–12 qualified pre-need appointments per week and track activity in CRM.
• Respond to phone inquiries and follow up professionally.
• Maintain accurate contract paperwork and documentation.
• Track performance metrics and refine approach.
• Stay current on veteran and Social Security benefits and end-of-life planning considerations.
• Deliver excellent service with a proactive mindset.
• Participate in ongoing training with sales and leadership.
