Boutique Recruiting is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney in Los Angeles to lead our pre-litigation program and drive high-value cases from intake to settlement. You will supervise Pre-Lit Managers, Case Managers, and support staff while shaping strategy for substantial matters.

The ideal candidate holds a CA Bar license, 5+ years of plaintiff-side PI experience, and a track record of handling cases valued at $250K and above.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review medical, billing, police, and supporting records for progress.
• Lead settlement negotiations with insurers and opposing parties.
• Evaluate intake and determine if cases meet firm standards.
• Monitor deadlines and communicate with clients regarding status and strategy.
• Escalate matters to litigation when appropriate and coordinate transitions.

Position Title: Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

Salary Range: $200,000–$400,000 / Year, DOE + bonus

Take ownership of high-value personal injury cases while leading a strong pre-litigation team at a growing plaintiff-side firm. We are seeking an experienced Pre-Lit Personal Injury Attorney to oversee complex matters from intake through settlement while providing leadership to Pre-Lit Managers, Case Managers, and support staff. This role requires deep knowledge of medical management, case valuation, liability, treatment strategy, and settlement negotiations, particularly for significant cases valued at $250K and above.

The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented personal injury attorney who can confidently manage a high-volume caseload, lead a team, and communicate with clients with patience and professionalism. They understand the complete lifecycle of a personal injury case and know how to identify issues before they become problems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the pre-litigation department, working closely with Pre-Lit Managers, Case Managers, and support staff
• Manage and provide strategic oversight for approximately 100–120 active, higher-value personal injury cases
• Evaluate liability, damages, medical treatment, and overall case value to develop effective case strategies
• Review medical records, billing records, police reports, and supporting documentation to ensure cases are progressing appropriately
• Handle settlement negotiations with insurance carriers and opposing parties
• Evaluate prospective matters during intake and determine whether cases meet the firm’s standards
• Monitor statutes of limitations, government claim deadlines, and other critical legal dates
• Communicate directly with clients regarding treatment, case status, settlement strategy, and next steps
• Identify matters requiring escalation into formal litigation and coordinate an effective transition
• Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure compliance with California procedures and internal protocols

Requirements

• Active California Bar license in good standing with no disciplinary history
• Ideally 5+ years of plaintiff-side pre-litigation personal injury experience, with exceptional candidates at earlier career stages considered
• Demonstrated experience managing or overseeing a large caseload, including significant matters valued at $250K and above
• Expert-level understanding of medical management, treatment progression, and the full lifecycle of a personal injury case
• Strong intake experience with the ability to evaluate liability, damages, and case viability
• Proven settlement negotiation experienceStrong knowledge of statutes of limitations, government claims, and legal calendaring requirements
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with attorneys, Case Managers, support staff, and clients
