Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Pre Litigation Lawyer role based in Los Angeles, CA. The Pre Litigation Lawyer will manage cases before they enter formal litigation, including conducting initial case evaluations, gathering and reviewing evidence, and assessing liability and damages. The role involves drafting demand letters and legal correspondence, communicating with clients to explain case status and strategy, and negotiating settlements with insurers, opposing counsel, and other parties. The Pre Litigation Lawyer will collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff, prepare cases for potential filing, maintain accurate case documentation, and ensure compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to analyze Legal Issues and apply relevant statutes and case law.
• Demonstrated experience providing clear, practical Legal Advice to clients in personal injury or related practice areas.
• Familiarity with Courts and pre-litigation procedures, including case preparation for potential filing.
• Proficient Negotiation skills for handling settlement discussions with insurers and opposing parties.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in California.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong drafting and documentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to ethical and client-centered representation.
• Experience in personal injury or civil litigation is preferred but not required.
