Job summary

The Champion Firm in Woodstock, GA seeks a Pre-Litigation Attorney to represent clients injured by others' negligence. You will manage a caseload from intake through settlement or referral, and build close relationships with clients while pursuing optimal outcomes.

Ideal candidates have Georgia Bar admission in good standing, experience in personal injury preferred, and strong legal writing, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement or referral to litigation.
• Build strong, responsive relationships with clients and keep them informed about their cases.
• Investigate liability and damages, identify issues that may affect case value, and develop case strategy.
• Review medical records, bills, insurance coverage, and other evidence.
• Work with clients, medical providers, insurers, and the firm’s case team to move matters forward.
• Prepare and present settlement demands and negotiate with insurance adjusters.
• Evaluate offers with clients and advise them about their options.
• Collaborate on case strategy.
• Identify cases that require litigation and coordinate an effective transition to the litigation team.
• Maintain accurate case records and meet deadlines.
