A plaintiff-side employment law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a Pre-Litigation Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience. This role offers hands-on responsibility, mentorship, and flexibility with an extremely hybrid model (2 days per month in office post-onboarding). Candidates should have a Juris Doctor and active California State Bar membership. The position provides opportunities in employment, class action, and PAGA matters, with a competitive base salary of $140k–$170k depending on experience.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in employment law, class actions, PAGA, and/or litigation preferred.
Strong drafting, research, and proofreading skills are essential.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills required.
Responsibilities
Evaluate potential claims and defendants with Intake and Managing Attorneys.
Draft and serve PAGA notices.
Prepare employment-related complaints.
Conduct detailed personnel file reviews.
Perform legal research and factual investigations.
Manage a high volume of employment matters.
