Fredericksburg ISD is seeking a qualified classroom teacher to provide students with engaging learning experiences in their core subject area, aligned with district curriculum, TEA guidelines, and state standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree, Texas teaching certificate, ESL certification, and demonstrate strong classroom management, collaboration with staff, and commitment to student growth and district mission.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate for appropriate grade level and content taught.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• ESL certification required or obtained within the school year.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Plan and use appropriate instructional strategies and materials.
• Assess student learning styles and modify curricula for IEPs.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula for IEPs.
• Collaborate with staff to determine instructional goals and methods.
• Plan and supervise instructional aides and volunteers.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement.
• Sponsor extracurricular activities as assigned.
• Be a positive role model and support district mission.
• Create conducive classroom environment and manage behavior.
• Follow safety protocols and protect students.
• Assist in selecting books and instructional materials.
• Maintain records and required documents.
• Communicate with parents, students, colleagues, and community.
• Participate in staff development and comply with regulations.
• Attend faculty meetings and serve on committees.
• Follow district safety protocols.
