Duties

As the lead teacher, your job duties would include:

Curriculum Planning:

• Use the Creative Curriculum to design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Foster creativity, critical thinking, and social-emotional skills through engaging activities.

Classroom Management:

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage behavior, transitions, and routines effectively.

Child Development Assessment:

• Observe and assess children’s progress.
• Provide individualized support tailored to each student's needs.

Parent Communication:

• Regularly communicate with parents about their child’s progress.
• Conduct parent-teacher conferences.

Health and Safety:

• Ensure a safe and clean classroom.
• Administer basic first aid when needed.

Collaboration:

• Work with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning experience.
• Attend professional development workshops and team meetings.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)

Early Ed Credits are a must.

State teaching certification (preferred)

Passion for working with early learners
