YWCA of Metropolitan St. Louis seeks an early childhood educator to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for young children, ensuring health and safety in the classroom and outdoor spaces.
You will foster positive relationships and engage families to support children’s learning. Requirements include a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and knowledge of Head Start standards.
YWCA of Metropolitan St. Louis (YWCA) has been serving the community for more than 120 years, providing essential, wraparound services that support women and families throughout their time in our programs. Each year, YWCA serves approximately 10,000 women and their families, offering a multitude of services. YWCA is the largest provider of direct Head Start services in Missouri, operating 8 centers and 11 partner sites, and we are proud to hold the National Program of Excellence accreditation from the National Head Start Association.
Plan and implement learning opportunities that further the children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth and development while acting as a support and resource for parents to ensure head Start Program Performance Standards are met.

An associate, bachelors, or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a related field and 10+ classes in Early Childhood Education or Pre-K CDA.
