Job summary

Primrose School Franchising SPE, LLC is looking for an experienced Pre-K Preschool Teacher in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will plan and implement activities promoting child development and learning. The position operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The ideal candidate will supervise a classroom, maintain a positive environment, and meet regulatory agency requirements. Benefits include a supportive work environment, complimentary vision and dental insurance, and $80/month discretionary bonus after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency.
• Current TB and Physical Required (within the last year).
• Current Background Check Qualifying Letter with the NC Division of Child Development required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall supervision and daily class functions of children.
• Implements lesson plans and daily classroom schedule.
• Maintains an attractive and well-kept classroom.

Skills

Knowledge of social, emotional and creative needs of young children

Previous teaching or assistant teaching position

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
