Broken Arrow Public Schools is seeking a Pre-K Teacher Assistant to support instruction at an assigned site. The role is 7 hours per day and non-exempt, reporting to the Site Principal.
You will assist the lead teacher with activities, supervise students, prepare materials, and help with classroom organization and behavior monitoring. A High school diploma or GED is required; 6 months preschool experience preferred; a Food Handlers Permit may be required on hire.

Primarily inside working conditions with some exposure to environmental conditions during duty assignments. Some outside duty assignments required with exposure to pollen, heat, cold, wind, humidity or other weather conditions. Exposure to bodily fluids.
The noise level in the work environment may be loud at a standard level for students of this age.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear. The employee will often be required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. Employee is required to act quickly to ensure student safety.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs, as may be required in assisting children, rearranging classroom furniture, etc.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and peripheral vision.
