Summary: As a Pre-K Teacher at Enchanted Care, you will create, manage, and participate in a variety of learning environments and activities that provide opportunities for students to develop to their fullest potential and achieve their learning objectives. You will collaborate with other teachers and staff to promote the well‑being of the school, its staff, and its students.

Hours: 9:00 - 6:00 PM (Monday-Friday)

Age Group: Pre-K (4-5 year olds)

Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour (Depending on experience and education)

Responsibilities
  • Culture: Positively influence your peers to work toward and meet the school’s vision of excellence. Provide and maintain quality education programs and ensure successful implementation of approved curriculum.
  • Health & Safety: Prioritize a safe, clean, and attractive learning environment. Maintain compliance with accreditation and state licensing requirements as well as all applicable state and federal laws and internal policies and procedures.
  • Educate, Inspire, Engage: Enrich children’s learning by fostering an inclusive classroom and nurturing life‑long learners while caring for their individual needs.
  • Relationship Building: Work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and administrators. Develop and maintain relationships with families, students, and the school community.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development Associates Credential (CDA) or equivalent, preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Often carrying and lifting 25 pounds or less (25‑50%) and occasionally carrying 25‑50 pounds (10‑25%).
  • At least 6 months of experience working in a licensed childcare facility required.
