Job summary

Bright Beginnings of South Park LLC in Alaska is seeking experienced Preschool and PreK Teachers to join a caring teaching team. You will be responsible for the safety, care, and education of a group of children in collaboration with a co-teacher.

The role involves creating and carrying out developmentally appropriate lesson plans using provided curriculum software; observing and documenting progress; and communicating with parents.

Qualifications

• Must meet state requirements to work in an early learning center.
• Priority given to applicants with a Bachelors/Associates or CDA in Early Childhood Education or working toward degree.
• Experience in preschool education preferred and welcomed.
• Ability to work with a co-teacher and communicate with parents effectively.

Responsibilities

• Create and carry out lesson plans based on children's developmental level using provided curriculum software (lesson planning time paid).
• Observe, document, and assess children's development.
• Work cooperatively with parents and attend parent–teacher conferences.
• Maintain professionalism, dependability, and ethical conduct.

Seeking experienced Preschool and PreK Teachers!

• A PreSchool or Pre Kindergarten teacher is responsible for the safety, care, and education of a group of children along with a co-teacher as part of a teaching team.
• The max classroom group size is approximately 16 children - with 2 teachers.
• Teachers at Bright Beginnings work together to:
• Create and carry out lesson plans based on children's developmental level and interest with curriculum and lesson planning software provided. Lesson planning time is paid.
• Make learning FUN for the students in your care!
• Observe, Document, and Assess children's development utilizing Teaching Strategies Gold (paid training upon hiring to learn if not already familiar with)
• Work cooperatively with parents and attend parent teacher conferences as scheduled by the center.
• Maintain a commitment to professionalism, dependability, and ethical conduct.

We are seeking passionate teachers who are dedicated, professional, caring, energetic, team oriented, motivated, communicative, and of course LOVE WORKING WITH PRESCHOOLERS to get them excited about LEARNING!!

Priority is given to those applicants with a Bachelors, Associates, or CDA from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Special Education. We also highly consider and appreciate the value in those who are working to obtain their degree, want to earn their degree, or have at least a High School Diploma with experience at a licensed center/school.

Applicants must have, or be willing to obtain with our help at hiring, all state requirements to work in an early learning center.
