Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Uphold and enforce school rules and policies.
• Assist students with physical disabilities, including transfers and positioning.
• Help with feeding, bathroom needs and personal hygiene.
• Assist in managing behavior and crisis intervention as needed.
• Develop motor skills with individual students or small groups.
• Supervise students inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials and displays.
• Maintain a neat and orderly classroom.
• Keep administrative records and reports as required.
• Provide orientation to substitute teachers.
