Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a Full Time Pre-K Lead Teacher to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate preschool education in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations as a Certified Teacher.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education (or 60 ECE credits) and Pennsylvania instructional level qualifications; you will plan curriculum, supervise staff, assess child progress, and ensure alignment with NAEYC and Keystone STARS standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred, or related field with 60 ECE credits.
• PA Instructional Level II in PNK or PK-4th preferred; Level I acceptable with participation in a Teacher Induction Plan.

Responsabilidades

• Plan curriculum and flexible instruction aligned with pro­scribed curriculum and NAEYC philosophy.
• Supervise classroom staff to ensure DOE/OOL/NAEYC guidelines are followed.
• Maintain daily attendance records and emergency contact binders.
• Communicate child progress clearly with parents and protect confidentiality.
• Conduct developmental assessments and family conferences at least 3 times per year.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness, centers setup, and proper toy return.
