Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CDA/Associate's/Bachelor’s in ECE preferred.
• Experience in Pre-K, daycare, or early childhood education setting.
• Knowledge of Georgia Pre-K standards and early childhood development.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Warm, patient, nurturing demeanor and love for working with young children.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet Georgia childcare licensing requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Pre-K curriculum standards.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for early childhood learners.
• Monitor and assess student development, documenting progress and milestones.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and classroom activities.
• Maintain classroom management while fostering social-emotional development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support school-wide learning goals.
• Ensure compliance with state childcare licensing regulations and safety standards.
