Qualifications

• Paraprofessional aide certificate required once employed.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to federal, state, and local policies for pre-kindergarten programs.
• Participate in planned in-services and professional growth activities.
• Assist in carrying out the instructional program.
• Assist in maintaining student records and audit folders.
• Assist in preparation, use, and maintenance of instructional materials and equipment.
• Assist with teacher-planned activities, exercises, and drills.
• Assist in the teaching/learning process with individuals and small groups.
• Attend professional meetings as required.
• Assist in administering and scoring objective assessments.
• Maintain flexibility in duties and align with district goals.
• Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with others.
• Supervise individual and small group activities as directed by the teacher.
