Central Pike Elementary School in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee is seeking a Pre-K Educational Assistant for a 180-day position. The candidate will support the Pre-Kindergarten teacher and follow district EA guidelines.

The pay starts at no less than $14.80 per hour, with full benefits including health, retirement, and paid time off. HQ requires an Associate's degree in Early Childhood or related coursework, or a CDA/early childhood certificate if the degree is not in Early Childhood.

Qualifications

• HQ requires a minimum of an Associate's degree or coursework in Early Childhood or a comparable field.
• If the Associate's degree is not in Early Childhood, a CDA credential or early childhood technical certificate is required.
• Relevant work experience in early childhood education may be acceptable for this requirement.

Responsibilities

• Work under the directive of the Pre-K teacher to whom the assistant is assigned.
• Follow all EA guidelines set forth by Wilson County Schools.
• This is a 180-day position with insurance and retirement benefits; pay determined by education and placement on the wage schedule.
