Base pay range

$45,000.00/yr - $45,000.00/yr

Description

A Child's World Doylestown is a licensed childcare facility seeking a PK Counts Lead Teacher for the 2024/2025 school year! This position involves working with children in the Pre-K room. The school year ends in June 2026.

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a minimum of a BA/BS in Early Childhood Education or PK-4. Instructional 1 or 2 in ECE or PK is preferred. Teaching experience and the ability to pass all background checks are required.

Required Shift: Monday - Friday

Compensation: $45,000 annually, pro-rated over the ten-month school year.

Our Hiring Process

Main Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare developmentally appropriate lesson plans a week in advance using current curriculum guides.
  • Implement weekly lesson plans covering all areas of child development and communicate effectively with parents.
  • Establish professional rapport with families to provide quality care.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children, respond to emotional needs, and maintain a clean, organized classroom.
  • Maintain child assessment portfolios and conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences in November and May.
  • Physically able to work around children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and fulfill all physical requirements.
  • Carry out daily classroom responsibilities related to child care.
