Job summary

St. Edward Catholic School in Houston is seeking a PK Classroom Aide to support lead teachers in a Pre-K program for children aged 3 to 5. You will help with lesson delivery, center setup, and student supervision throughout the school day.

Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with some meetings; total 40 hours per week in a full-time hourly contract for the 2026-2027 school year. Reports to the School Principal.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in planning, developing and implementing age appropriate curriculum
• Provide support to teachers in imparting lesson plans daily
• Supervise students during classroom and recreational activities
• Assist students during lunch, toileting and washing
• Maintain classroom order and behavior and assist with assessments
