Qualifications

• Must have a Childhood Development Associate Credential (CDA) with the preschool endorsement or higher.
• Experience with early childhood education and family support is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and families, including those with limited English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for children.
• Accompany children to and from the bus, classroom, and play areas; maintain attendance checks.
• Lead the classroom in the absence of the Teacher and support staff in daily routines.
• Maintain classroom organization for learning, eating, resting and play spaces per Creative Curriculum.
• Conduct at least two home visits and two parent conferences during the program, and support field trips and transitions.
