Child Development Schools in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Pre-K Assistant Teacher to support the NC Pre-K Lead Teacher in delivering developmentally appropriate activities aligned with the NC Pre-K Curriculum. Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED or currently pursuing an Associate Degree in birth-through-kindergarten, child development, early childhood education, or a related field, or hold a CDA credential.
• Must pass a background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Assist the NC Pre-K Lead Teacher in overseeing classroom activities and implementing the NC Pre-K Curriculum.
• Support planning and delivery of learning experiences across key development areas.
• Observe and assess children’s development and tailor activities to individual needs.
