Everman ISD seeks an Education Aide to assist teachers with instructional materials, classroom displays, and administrative tasks. The role provides guidance to substitute teachers and supports student learning throughout the day.

The ideal candidate will have a Texas Educational Aide certificate, a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of experience working with children. This on-site position emphasizes reliability and confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.

• Help maintain neat and orderly classroom.
• Help with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.
• Help teacher keep administrative records and prepare required reports.
• Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers.
• Conduct instructional exercises with individual students or small groups.
• Supervise students during lunch, bus, and playground.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Be punctual and a positive role model for students.

Primary Purpose:

Assist teacher in preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Work under supervision of certified teacher.

Qualifications:

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Instructional Support

1. Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
2. Assist with administration and scoring of objective testing instruments or work assignments.
3. Help maintain neat and orderly classroom.
4. Help with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.
5. Help teacher keep administrative records and prepare required reports.
6. Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers.

Student Management

1. Conduct instructional exercises assigned by the teacher; work with individual students or small groups.
2. Help supervise students throughout school day, inside and outside classroom. This includes lunchroom, bus, and playground duty.
3. Keep teacher informed of special needs or problems of individual students.

Other

1. Participate in staff development training programs to improve job performance.
2. Participate in faculty meeting and special events as assigned.
3. Maintain confidentiality.
4. Be punctual in all areas.
5. Be a positive role model for all students.
6. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
