Job summary

Walmart Inc. Grandville, MI pharmacy team is seeking a Pre-Grad Intern to gain hands-on experience in patient care and health and wellness within a community setting. This paid internship emphasizes learning in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

You will process prescriptions, assist customers, ensure HIPAA/PHI compliance, and support stocking and inventory management while engaging in community outreach and education activities.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.
• HIPAA and PHI guidelines compliance.
• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription and OTC orders.
• Deliver patient care by assessing needs and helping navigate therapies.
• Maintain confidentiality of information per policies, and HIPAA requirements.
• Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
