Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Portage, IN is seeking a Pre-Grad Intern to join our pharmacy team and gain hands-on experience in patient care.

You will learn to support pharmacists, process prescriptions and OTC orders, and help patients navigate therapies in a fast-paced community pharmacy setting. You will work under HIPAA guidelines, protect patient information, stock merchandise, and participate in community outreach while building relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of information according to policy and laws.
• Process prescription and OTC orders and purchases.
• Deliver patient care by recognizing needs and assisting with therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
