Job summary

Rosenbauer America Group in Lyons Township, SD, is seeking a Pre-Finisher to install door sills, rails, and running boards on fire apparatus. You will also fabricate intermediate steps and bend/cut metal to spec, reading blueprints and using a shear and brake press as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, welding experience preferred, and at least one year operating metal fabrication equipment. Must be able to lift and work safely in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Welding experience preferred.
• 1 year of experience using a shear and break press.

Responsibilities

• Installs door sills, rails, fenderettes, roll-up doors, steps, and running boards.
• Fabricates intermediate steps and other fabrication as needed.
• Bends and cuts sheets of metal as needed.
• Measures and cuts flat doors per truck specifications.
• Welds to complete the fabrication process.
• Uses basic hand tools, shear, and brake press.
• Performs other duties as required by the supervisor.
