Job summary

EPI Power is seeking a Pre-Fab Fabricator/Tech to support electrical construction on mission-critical and data center projects in Des Moines, IA. This role involves field support, reading drawings, and coordinating with field teams to ensure safe, high-quality delivery.

Occasional travel or relocation may be required based on project needs. Extended work hours, including weekends, may be necessary to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Overview

EPI Power is seeking a Pre-Fab Fabricator/Tech to support electrical construction activities on mission-critical and data center projects. This role is responsible for field support and contributes to the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of complex electrical systems. The ideal candidate is open to travel and/or relocation based on project needs.

This role may require extended work schedules, including weekends, based on project demands.

What You’ll Do

• Fabricating prefabricated assemblies according to specifications

• Measuring, cutting, fitting and assembly according to specifications

• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely

• Support electrical installation, coordination, and execution of assigned scope

• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project documents

• Coordinate with field leadership, project teams, and other trades

• Maintain focus on safety, quality, schedule, and productivity

• Identify and escalation field issues for timely resolution

• Role-specific software (Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, ACC, CxAlloy, etc.)

• Ability to work in active construction environments

Work Environment

This position may be performed in office and/or active construction site environments. Employees may be required to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and must be able to navigate active jobsites safely.
