Job summary

Bloom Consulting seeks two Pre-ETS Trainers to deliver instruction at West Orange-Stark High School in Orange, Texas. You will provide individual and small-group instruction to students with disabilities ages 16–22, following the curriculum and ensuring student safety.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or 60 hours of college credits in related fields, and must be able to travel to the assigned school. Schedule follows Class 1 and Class 2 times; reliable transportation required.

• Use cloud-based technology on personal devices.
• Track attendance for each service daily.
• Maintain materials provided by Bloom Consulting for school-year use.
• Work independently and collaboratively when planning curriculum.
• Follow the provided curriculum and seek approval for any changes.
• Communicate students' needs to your supervisor.
• Maintain receipts for clients and providers.
• Review paperwork to ensure completion and accuracy.

SCHOOL LOCATION & SCHEDULE

Pre-ETS services will be provided at West Orange-Stark High School.

Two Pre-ETS classes are available:

• Class 1: Tuesday-Thursday, 9:15 AM-10:00 AM
• Class 2: Monday-Friday, 10:45 AM-11:30 AM

Applicants must have consistent availability for the schedule of their assigned class.

TEACHING & INSTRUCTION

Pre-ETS (Pre-Employment Transition Services) brings practical life-skill application to students with disabilities ages 16-22.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

• You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• You have:
  • Two years of experience working with students with disabilities; OR
  • 60 hours of college credit in special education, specific disabilities, social work, counseling, business, or a related field.
• You are comfortable interacting with small groups of students.
• You can communicate effectively in both spoken and written form.You are proficient in basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and calendars.
• You consistently meet recurring deadlines.
• You have reliable transportation and are able to travel to the assigned school location as required.
