Job summary

Rush Enterprises Inc. seeks a Pre-Delivery Technician to inspect, adjust, test and rig vehicles and equipment before delivery to customers. You will perform incoming inspections, verify materials, and assist with installation and warranty repairs under manufacturer guidelines.

This role emphasizes accuracy, safe procedures and clear communication with the lead person. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL and a good driving record, and basic computer skills for

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL and clean driving record required.
• Basic computer skills to use Outlook and reference checklists.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections for damages and missing parts and complete Pre-Delivery Inspection as required by the manufacturer.
• Perform maintenance and correction procedures; collect and retain serial numbers.
• Verify bills of materials, included vehicle options and equipment lists.
• Perform warranty repairs as directed and provide timely feedback to the lead person.
• Read job orders and complete checklists neatly and legibly.
• Work with checklists; assist in warranty or recall repairs and mods; knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics, compressed air, electrical and planning areas.
